Redpill truth is that the guys who demonstrate value get the women.

There are two ways to demonstrate value: you can actually have value, or you can simulate value you don't have. Both of those options are effective. Only one of those options is admirable.

Yes, you can invest yourself in learning pickup lines and optimizing your approach. Or, you can invest yourself in actually becoming a better, more interesting person. Both choices will get you laid. One of those choices will improve your life in other ways as well.

Redpillers don't scorn PUA with the idea that it doesn't work. Of course it works- if getting laid is the only thing you care about. The problem with PUA is that it fails to recognize that there's more to life than getting laid. Given a choice between getting laid, and being awesome AND getting laid, the second choice is pretty clearly superior.

Well, lots of PUA material is useless self-help drivel that is being peddled by internet marketers and con men. It is very easy to get sucked into PUA world, they prey on desperate insecure dudes and make them pay out the nose for bootcamps and books and dvd's, all promising to have that golden secret that will make them good with women.

There is useful information in the pickup community but for the new person it is difficult to separate the proven and effective advice from the self-help circle jerk. So in my opinion the TRP guys, being mindful of this, are skeptical by default of guys posting up their PUA stuff. Roosh and some other game stuff is linked on the sidebar though, I think the common theme among those that are recommended is that they acknowledge that this is a hard journey and don't display these fake testimonials and come at you like an infomercial sales pitch.

TRP's approach (and I'm no authority on the subject), is to attack more the root of the problem rather than the symptom, to get guys to build lives, to not be dependent on the validation of women, to become a natural from within rather than to learn routines and theories. For most folks that means making themselves more attractive, working out, raising their status, and internalizing a more useful worldview than the one that society forces upon us.

TRP isn't necessarily about being a PUA its about making yourself the best possible person you can be, physically and mentally. As a by-product of this you attract more women because you have confidence, you look good, and you are very social.

PUA works and I tried it. But I never liked it because I was being fake and disingenuous. TRP is just a fancy word for "reality". See things for what they are. Drop the gimmicks.

You must be new to TRP because we've discussed plenty of PUA shit and Game. We now even have an official Field Report day where guys share their most recent successes or failures. Game is definitely a big part of TRP. Remember, most of us aren't MGTOW.

I'm an RSD guy as well and I've noticed it's rarely ever brought up here. Most subscribers are fans of Roosh, Heartist, etc.

Is you casually use words like "kino", "kiss-close", "set", in one of your posts, I guarantee most guys will know what you're talking about.

I hate PUA shit in TRP... Go to Seduction if you want to know about openers and shit tests.

I also think PUA is toxic. What it does it is teaches people how to pretend to be something they aren't. It never addresses the underlying problems. The reason TRP may seem to overlap with PUA is because it talks about getting with women, however one talks about openers and lines, while the other talks about embrassing your masculinity.

At the end of the day, success comes from confidence, removal of needing approval from others, and expressing your true self. PUA teaches none of these, they only teach how to pretend this.

That being said, I don't think PUA and TRP are comparable. They are two different fields of thought.
