So I've been doing a huge favor for myself by getting in shape, looking good, and just all around improving as a man. But unfortunately I live in an area that's really difficult to find single girls my age. Which in my town the average age seems to be over 40.

Most of the young girls are back in college, while I just finished my bachelors. So the college crowd has since left for the fall.

So I joined OKCupid, and I've been messaging girls. Some respond, most don't. The ones that have responded are difficult to hold conversations with. So after a few messages if there is no spark, I move on. Simple as that.

But I can't help feeling that some of my openers aren't engaging enough or they might be "putting pussy on a pedestal" too soon. I can't seem to break free from this.

Does anyone have any pointers in regards to developing some openers that aren't the corny PUA bullshit I've already tried?
