Thoughts on chemistry? Does one area of chemistry outweigh another in relationships? Can one develop it? Can one make someone else feel it? Or is it unconscious?

Chemistry is mostly another word for looks/physical attraction. It likely came about so girls don't have to say: "I don't think you are good looking enough for me to date" so they use the euphemism: "chemistry" as in "I just didn't feel chemistry". Sure, if someone is referring to specific chemistry (say chemistry in bed, or chemistry in conversation); but in general the nebulous term "chemistry" without a qualifier generally refers to looks, at least in my opinion.

Chemistry is of central importance, although there is some dispute over whether one should focus on Organic, Inorganic, or Biochemistry. My personal opinion is that one should focus on Physics and Quantum Chemistry.

Chemistry is a real thing. If you are attracted to someone's smell (pheromones), it means that you're biologically more compatible for reproduction. (Source: yummy smelling boyfriend has almost completed biology degree) I recently ran into someone I've been attracted to for years. But I didn't like his smell these days. Our relationship possibility went out the window. I hear that birth control changes a women's pheromones too, so maybe it has to do with it.
