Gonna give a quick FR on the situation and what I did; looking for feedback/suggestions on appropriate response in this situation.

Took a chick to see a play. I'd planned to take her back to my place for drinks after, but the logistics didn't work out (bus schedule/transportation since we're both in college and neither of us drives) and she'd made plans to go out dancing with her friends after. So when I isolated her after the play (private place near the venue) and initiated the make-out, she asked to stop so she could text to set up her plans for the rest of the night.

My response was to make a game of it and try to power through anyway, so I told her "Fine, but I get to try to distract you," so as she was texting I continued to feel her up and escalated to direct vaginal stimulation with my hand in her pants. She got pretty wet with the fingering but I was unable to escalate any further, and she eventually left to catch the bus.

Was my response a good move? Any advice/suggestions on the best way to handle such a situation?
