Some people here have said that first impressions are not something to die for, but the thing is i believe they are pretty important. Last year i started going to college and since then i've met a lot of people, i don't have problems to just talking to someone or being at a party where i don't know anyone, but the thing is that even though i meet a lot of people, if they are with a group or something i end up speaking very little, and because of this people the next week don't even remember i was at that party. My question is how one gives a better impression? How do you engage with a new group of people and become the center of attention? I believe if you are alone at a party is not enough to simply get the names of everyone, but actually do something to make them enjoy being with you and ask for more.
