My buddy's girlfriend is trying to set me up with a girl that I have never met. From what my buddy's GF has told me, this girl is shy and hates people. She barely even hangs out with guys, but she definetly is not mean or anything. So considering this girl's personality, should I get my buddy's girlfriend to ask the girl if I can have her number? Or should I do the whole "casual encounter" where my friend and I are hanging out and his girl friend and the other girl join us. I feel like just exchanging numbers and communicating via text would be 10 times easier, since she is shy and I am really smooth when I text. However, I do want to try to break out of my comfort zone and talk person to person. Not sure what to do, any advice would be awesome.
