Could you clarify a few things? Because there seem to be some contradictions in your post.

What do you think flirting is?

I can talk to girls fine.......girls I just meet at a party or a bar I don't know what to say.

If you can talk to girls "fine," then you can flirt. Can you elaborate on what things you do that make you think that you talk to girls fine?

Side-note: Interactions with "girls you know well," are likely with girls that you've been friend-zoned, which means that any "flirting," is likely a bit toothless. So this is not necessarily a good thing to try to duplicate anyway.

Baseline of flirting is teasing, when you meet a girl say "I like your style, but that shirt....I'm a little too ____ for me" with a smirk...

It's why all the kids who like each other in grade school tease each other, it's the baseline and amps up attraction. Complementing and finding commonalities are good, but teasing gives her that attraction jolt!

It makes things easier if you can comment on something that could lead to a conversation. Oh you like that band (on a bracelet, t-shirt, etc.)? Or bring up a challenge. Like a shotgun or just chugging a beer
