My partner has had a past. I too have had a past.

Your past and her past are not equivalent. Your prior successes getting sex from women make you a better choice of mate for her, but her prior failures getting commitment from men make her a worse choice for you.

Past is prologue; promiscuous women are more likely to cheat. A woman with failed relationships in her past is likely to be a woman with failed relationships in her future.

Is retroactive jealousy just one big giant needy beta trying to make his way back out of me? ... why do I get so bothered?

This is instinct trying to protect you from investing your resources in a women who is likely to abuse your trust and cuckold you. You should listen to your instincts and next her.

Is it all about inner game? Is that was is lacking?

Inner game isn't about accepting a woman's flaws, it's about appreciating your own value.

The past is important. That's why we have resumes. Past behavior is an indication of future performance. If you got yourself an ex-ho it's perfectly reasonable to be worried.

I want you to stop and think about your respective pasts for a moment.

Think about the women you've been with and the work that went into aquiring their affections.

It was a lot of work wasn't it?

Now think of the men she's been with and the work they did to aquire hers.
