I've seen so many book recommendations on this sub it's difficult to discern which are repeats of information you're already familiar with and which are worth your time. I'm currently reading The Game by Neil Strauss. It's well written. It reads more like a story than a self help book. Neil describes his journey into the PUA world and becoming one of the top PUAs. He teaches PUA techniques throughout the book. I haven't finished it yet but he exposes the flaws in the PUA community. I'd recommend it.

The Game is a great read . . . and it is littered with terrible advice. At best it's a gateway drug for guys who want to do more.

Of the recommended reading that I wish I had read sooner, The Red Queen would be the top rec. If you can't handle the early evolutionary biology stuff, just skip the first half and get to the part about humans.
