Today I was with my group of friends and we ran into a group that one of my friends in my group knew. Everyyyone got into a big, excited discussion about the upcoming Marvel movies coming out. I have no idea about shit like that so for the most part I was pretty quiet and not contributing/being noticed. I definitely felt insecure about that.

How do I handle a situation like this in the future?
