Stick with your therapist. Having body dysmorphic disorder sucks (if that's what you're dealing with) it's really hard to trust what other people say when you see something different in the mirror. You are not ugly or misshapen. Take it from Internet nobodies who have no reason to lie

I am less attractive than you and you know what really helps my body image? Lifting weights regularly it did wonders for my confidence. When I stop working out I start feeling like shit about myself although most is in my head.
