Hi there guys, I'm an amateur pick up artist and I need some help.

So I'm one those guys who's never had a girl in his entire life (I'm 19 almost 20). I've tried in the past but nothing ever succeeded. After graduating I thought college would be easier but after my first semester that assumption was quickly put down. During my second semester I met a friend who kind of introduced me to what we call,"gaming" (A.K.A Hitting on girls we see in public places). I learned a lot from some experiences like how nervous I get around girls, how easy it is to mess up a conversational flow, and not to mention how outgoing you need to be.

To be clear here, I'm anything but shy so approaching women is no problem but the things that happen after the initial encounter is what I'm having the most trouble with. I try to be myself when I see someone that I'm interested in but all too often I find myself unintentionally following one of the most generic and unoriginal intros out there. I get her attention, ask her name, then ask her something like where she's from or what she's into. A lot of times it turns into an interrogation of sorts, with me asking her question after question while I realize that I really don't have anything on my mind to say. I mean, who would be interested in someone who can't even initiate a conversation without turning it into a colossal screw up?

I want to be able to go up to any girl, get her attention, then just talk about anything and everything and still have her interested. Can anyone give me some advice that I can use to my advantage?

Oh and I probably should have mentioned that he and I are going in the morning to try our luck at the town center.
