For the past year, I've been swing and blues dancing on a frequent basis and have taken a number of lessons. Combined with constant practice at home, I've gotten fairly good and totally feel at home on the dance floor. As a dancer, I'm somewhat flamboyant and love to improvise. Sometimes, I especially love to throw some swivel steps in and get mildly ridiculous, for the amusement of my partners. In response, I get quite a few giggles typically. Last night, I stepped it up a notch: when they'd laugh at my antics and respond with their own improv, I'd tell them, "You can't out sass me!" To which they'd laugh some more, retort with something like, "Ohhh, you just think that!" and attempt to do so. Then, I'd proceed to get just a little more flamboyant.

It was awesome; I didn't try to pull any numbers last night (one of the partners I tried this on is an interest) but I had a blast and am enjoying the time of building up my social and dance skills at this point.
