I know this might seem like a silly question but I need help coming to terms with it. I was in a complicated friendship for 4 out of the last 5 years with a girl (we'll call her Daisy) who was in a bad relationship, I've actually known her since I was 9 but we'd reconnect after a few years. When her relationship went sour at times I was always there to help her, but the last year of our friendship things out very uncomfortable as she would kiss me without consent. I would try to tell her man but she would deny it everytime. Things would get worse when she sent me nudes while drunk, and after I told her she felt "comfortable" to send me nudes of her and her boyfriend. It even got to the point where I got involved in their sex lives (buying condoms and birth control, getting multiple pregnancy tests), and during a vacation I couldn't shower for 3 days because there were fluids on the soap and the bathtub.
Throughout the friendship Daisy always told me "you better not catch feeling for me, or else I'm done with this friendship " and while I crushed on her as kids, I only saw her as a friend up until that last year. I felt really guilty and confused about my feelings (especially when I drank "coffee" to her) and while peers tell me it was an opportunity I mostly was left uncomfortable, especially now in recent times where I have nightmares about my experiences. My therapist has gotten me to consider that I was sexually abused by Daisy, to which most just laugh at a "failed opportunity" and that a guy can't get abused in that unless they're in prison. I had never had a female friend before and I was under the presumption that this was "normal", but thinking about it just leaves me hurt.
