So I found this thread just under two months ago when I broke up with my ex and first of all I want to say thank you to all who post on here, seriously. You're all pretty awesome and have some great advice.

Anyways, I digress. I'm from the uk, a predominantly positive 26 yr old guy (I found this out when giving a tarot reading which ended up being like a councilling session for an engaged girl), however I literally freeze and get redicilously shy whenever I see a girl I wanna talk to just out and about. I have lots of friends who are girls and a lot of them are pretty hot and I have no problems talking to them; yet that cute blonde girl in the short cocktail dress is like a grizzly bear in my head that I just wanna run from. I knos what I should do, I should just approach with confidence, smile casually and say something. Anything. But no, my mind goes 264mph and I literally become too aware of what's going on socially that I care too much about what people with think, I feel I'm not attractive enough for these hot girls (even though everyone of my exes have been labelled hot by friends and strangers). I also come to the conclusion in a moment of enlightenment, I actually feel sort of ashamed for wanting to have sex with these hot girls.

I've always had anxiety when wanting to approach a girl, and even more so when wanting to express an interest. I'm naturally a confident guy and I'm intending to move to another country on my own in September 2016 to teach, but this problem with talking to new girls cold and breaking rapport has always been a problem, regardless of how much I read inner game. I know I need to just do it (shia style), but it literally terrifies me. Anyone with any wise words to help me overcome this shit feeling of what pretty much is (I think), inadequacy?

Peace!
