Good work on deciding you want to improve yourself.

From my experience. She says she doesn't want a relationship but is single. Reads: She would like a relationship but is waiting for Channing Tatum/Ryan Gosling/oldm8Foxhound(lol) to come along.

Texting: The generalization that all girls are glued to their phones is nonesense. Some girls legitimately hate texting all the time. If she's admitted this, why text her. Go read up on text game, I like a lot of others here use it only to meetup with girls and refrain from having conversations with people on it. Same goes for Facebook. Facebook/texting has been a relationship(before it began) killer for me, and a direct path to the Friendzone.

As for asking her out, just do it. And that's all that matters, that you do it. Not the result. If she want's to, sweet, if she doesn't sweet. You'll be fine either way.

Doesnt crushing on = really liking someone? She could just want a friend, she could just want you to make the next move, or she could just want you to go away. Only one way to find out though.

If there's one thing I've learned in dating, dont focus all of your energy on one woman. Go out and do stuff, meet people and have fun. Talk to more women, you may find some are more receptive to your advances.

What's the total amount of time you have spent with her/on the phone with her?

If it's less than 4 hours, you are not friend zoned yet.

If it's between 4 and 20 hours, you may be friend zoned or maybe she just has issues.

If it's more than 20 hours, you are definitely in the friend zone. Your only hope is to "be there" right when she goes through a rejection, fight or a breakup, but even that is a long shot and way too much time invested for too little reward.
