This is a new side of game for me.

I am going on a solo backpacking trip for the first time. I have never stayed at a hostel before. Looking for advice on the game there.

1- How to game in the hostel?

2- At parties?

3- General etiquette?

4- I assume the IOI's are a bit different in this setting?

5- Is it easier or more difficult?

6- Choose a mixed dorm or a private room?

7- General policy of hostel on getting girls back? Logistics?

I don't have a problem swinging for a room in a hotel, I just want to experience a hostel.

If anyone is willing to give a few tips on general hostel etiquette that would be most helpful.

Any stories encouraging or discouraging for hostels?
