UPDATE Since my last post I've continued on a few dating websites and have had a week of almost a date a day and organized a guys night with some of my scattered male acquaintances. This is coming from someone who didn't date/ use online sites at all.

DATING:

I clicked with one of the girls I went out with,and ended up on a second date with her at my place. Things escalate and we make out , but I don't close the deal but make sure she finishes. She goes home calls me back the next day to say we need to take a huge step back and that the person I met that night wasnt representative of her. We keep talking and texting and date 3.. last night rolls around. She's exhausted after a day of 5K and we go out to dinner and I bring her home to watch a movie/TV. She says she is probably not going to stay and crashes on the couch. There's light flirting, butt smacks. I say she should come upstairs and sleep there, she says no because she doesn't want what happened before to happen again, but she does want me to stay next to her while she sleeps. I fiddle around for a bit then come back and kiss her on the cheek and tell her I'm going upstairs and to wake me when she wakes up. She gets up and says that she wants me to take her home.

On the way back I have to admit I lost frame. I said sorry for making her feel uncomfortable, she pulls her hand away. I ask if were good, she says she doesn't know, that I need to understand that just because I think something is comfortable doesn't mean she does. It also doesn't help that my driving was a little distracted because I was, so 2 beta strikes for me.

I have a couple more dates next week, but let's see how they go.

GUYS' NIGHT

Originally planned steak night/ strip club , but it ended up being pool and beer. Half the guys bail and dont show up but about 5 of us shoot the shit for a couple of hours and head to the strip club, a good time was had by all.

That's all I have so far, but it feels like I'm backsliding with the dating thing, or maybe I just need to pull back on how aggressive I'm being. Like I said in my previous post. Rip me a new one if you must, but what can I learn from this?

TL:DR started dating and organizing a Guy's night. May be back sliding into beta with the dating.
