I got the girls number, now what?

If the number-close wasn't just practise or an ego-boost and you truly want to see this girl again, here's what I would do.

I'm new at this, so bare with me:

Text her in the first 24 hours you get the number, but don't do it too soon. If you go it in the afternoon, then do it later in the evening, or if you got it in the evening, do it at lunch the next day. No need to play long wait games here.

Remind her who you are, and hook her interest in you with light banter. Cocky funny works great through text for me.

Don't do it for to long. Maybe 5-10 texts back and forth. Then say that you'll be doing something whenever, and that she should tag along.

If she agrees, great! If not, I guess there's not enough attraction there for a date.

Go easy on me guys, I'm only speaking from multiple Tinder date experiences, and am yet to man up and get a number-close in the field.

You've already botched it if you don't know where you're going with the woman. What's the backstory? could be salvageable
