Maybe ask one more time or just try and have a little longer conversation when you get back, not asking to go anywhere. The age difference is not impossible but could be a deal breaker right off the bat when she finds out. The worst that can happen is she feels awkward she might want to part ways and you'll have to find another cat sitter.

Then say that. "Hey. I don't really know how to say this but I think you're sweet/funny/cute/whatever and I would like to have coffee/dinner with you sometime.

Worst case scenario you have to get a new cat sitter.
