So I went out with some buddies tonight and I was drinking with them when I spotted this HB8 with her friend, a HB7, chatting together out of the corner of my eye. I chat with my friends for abit and finally decided I would go talk to them. Do note that this happened in Singapore - and I'm Asian too.

So I just went up, and opened with "Hey I was drinking with my friends and I just saw you and thought you were cute, so i had to say hi."

They responded positively and we introduced ourselves and I chat them both up. As I try to build rapport, I find that the friend (obstacle) actually started showing IOIs toward me. At the same time, my target doesn't show signs of wanting to ditch me.

Here's the bummer. My pal, being pissed drunk, interrupts me once to drink. I reject him but he insists so to not make a scene I accept his drink and go back.

We then go on to chat for about 10 mins. I build my responses around their questions and kino'd both non sexually while talking. And just when I felt the moment was right, my buddy interrupts me again for another drink. And this time, the girls decide to leave to meet friends and in a last ditch attempt I try to get their numbers, but the lack of time only secures me the obstscle's # and she was heading back to the UK for studies so she's out of the question.

The issue I had on review is: Did I take too long to #close? Is there a time to ask? I know a good method to get the numbers and linger for abit more conversation, but I would like to hear your thoughts.
