I am 19 years old and at a large public university. I have been going out to the bars solo on Thursdays since I am the only one of my friends who has a solid fake id. 2 weeks ago I stared talking to a girl and she was relatively receptive. I asked her to dance and "grabbed" her forearm which she did not like at all, and got pissed at me. I would say it was more of a touch than a grab but whatever. She ended up telling her gay friend about it and he was threatening to beat me up. I was just playing it cool with the gay guy but he was not having it.
Fast forward two weeks and I see the same girl at the same bar. We talk for a little and kind of laugh off what happened. We talked for maybe two minutes.
So yesterday I go to the same bar, and eventually run into her again. As soon as we made eye contact we both just started laughing. We then proceeded to talk and flirt for a good 45 minutes. She seemed to be enjoying the conversation as she could have went to talk to her friends. I was mainly focused on showing her that I am not some creep that she initially thought I was. This means that I did not do much escalating. As the bar was closing I got her number.
So basically now I don't know where to go from here. She's a senior and I lied to her and said I'm 20. Do I ask her on a date for coffee or is that weird? Do I meet her at a bar that we both live by?
Any advice is appreciated
