So here's my sticking point: A while back I remember reading that I should do 'warm up' approaches in clubs. The lesson was something like this: 'It doesn't matter who you approach in the club when you first get there, just get yourself warmed up first and in a talkative state.' So using this philosophy I would go straight for the 7's or 6's , and it worked great! Though the problem was when one of the 6's or 7's showed interest and started flirting back with me, I would end up hooking up with them! I would think to myself 'ok i've got a girl interested in me in front of me, why not' and go for it. Now whenever I go out I start off by approaching 7's and 6's, and end up hooking up with them before I even have the chance to approach a HB10.

I seem to be stuck in this mindset, and don't actually go for the 10's or 9's. I also think there is a bit of 'ego defense' going on as well (maybe i'm subconsciously protecting my ego by avoiding approaching the HB10s out of fear of rejection). How do I overcome this sticking point? Any advice would be appreciated :)
