What works for me every time texting a girl and setting up a date. Goes something like this: Me: blah...blah... What's your schedule like next week for meetup? Her: (she might say only Wed or Fri or busy until next available time) Me: How about Friday evening at 7pm? Have you been to this blah place? (I usually find out what area she lives and suggest somewhere in between) Her: Sounds good. Haven't been but heard great thing about it... (she either say yay or nay;she might suggest a different place or different time)

Done deal.

Cut out those overtly positive vibe and unnecessary exclamation point in texts.
Remove those options. That's NOT leading. If you really want to lead just suggest exact time and place. It's concrete and definite.
Saying, "have fun with me" or "it'll be fun" sounds desperate and bored like you have nothing else to do.
Saying, "...i may be asking other people to hangout with me however." IS neediness. Might not sound so to you but why the hell she cares if you are hanging out with others or not. It's assumed you have your own thing going... with or without her.
If twice she says she is busy, move on. Pretty sure anyone who want to hang out with you will make time for you regardless.

instead of asking a woman if she'd like to go on a "date" with me, I prefer to invite her to join me on something I'm going to do with or without her: "So I was looking at the forecast for Saturday, and it looks like a great day for a ride. This approach lets her know that if she declines, it's still happening. People hate missing out on great opportunities, especially when it's something there are interested in/passionate about. What's more, if she does decline, I make it a point to send her a picture from said event with a tag that says "Wish you were here!" Like I said, there's a big difference between asking someone out, and asking them to join you for an activity.

I can see that you're a weird chatter, at least by my standards. First day hello, than wait for an response. Slowly, but steady flow I think.

It's your writing style in general. For me, it sounds as if you want to sell something or are a machine - in other words, you feel very unauthentic. I would have reacted the same way as the girl, I guess. Using texting only for setting up dates isn't always the best way to go. I personally spend hours of texting with each girl I dated and still - or more probably just because of this much rapport building over time - made out with them and/or fucked them.
