I've seen plenty of posts like this before, but stuff like this is confusing to a lot of guys. Beginners will just think "oh this means I can tell a girl I want to fuck her straight away!"

The problem is NOT that guys don't understand that you're supposed to communicate your desires. The problem is that they don't understand how far is to far, how to calibrate it, etc...

Even worse what will happen is some guy who is just starting out will read this article (which by the way, makes communicating your desires seem like the easiest thing in the world) and then go out and ask a girl for sex. Little will he know that everything about the way he presents himself when he asks her this question is off and so he'll go back home and complain that "communicating your desires doesn't work" when in reality everything was off with his non-verbal's.

This article has the right idea. It's written fucking terribly, however, and ignores everything that goes into communication other then the words themselves.

If your article was any thinner on substance, the link would probably be removed, to be honest. As it is, it's worth keeping up, if only for the conversation you've started. There are a couple things that don't fly, in this article.

So then, why do you run out of things to say when you’re hanging out with women? You aren’t hanging out with any women. That is why you don’t have anything to say.

BS. Just hanging out with women doesn't impart someone with the skill set necessary to hold a good conversation. If this were true, than girls would all be excellent conversationalists. We know that's not true.

No, the problem is actually that such guys are allowing themselves to be so preoccupied with saying the "right thing" that they are in their heads, rather than being fully present and aware of the overall situation.

Confidence is all good and well, but simply going Apocalypse Opener on girls isn't exactly a stable strategy. Especially for newbies.

Confidence IS necessary, but active listening is a better overall strategy to actually prepare a guy for holding up his end of the conversation. If you're paying attention, you'll know when to escalate. Whereas simply blurting out what you want is a stab in the dark if you aren't paying attention properly.

Instead of worrying about “what to say” instead worry about “what you want.”
