So, I seem to run into this problem often these days:
A little about myself; 21 years old and studying Mechanical Engineering. I'm considered a genuine, emotionally mature, confident, attractive, nice (but I don't take shit), easy-going, smart, interesting, and overall great guy by my very blunt and honest friends.
I seem to have this problem where I'm almost exclusively attracting very insecure, possessive, emotionally unstable, and dependent girls.
Although I prefer dating, it hasn't been my focus lately to find one. I don't mind casual setups either.
However, almost every girl attracted to me seems to be incapable of handling either of these. I almost always meet them through friends too.
I'm wondering what it is I might be doing wrong. It also doesn't help that a lot of my passions and interests are either male-dominated, not well known for having stable people, or very much geared towards an older crowd. This has been bothering me for some while now since almost all of my efforts towards meeting people that are GF material or not an emotional time bomb almost always fail. I wonder if there's another angle or method I'm not using to put myself out there, or just something I'm missing.
