In a lot of ways, yes; in other ways, no. For example, men are worked to the bone there like drafthorses. There's a lot of conformity and not much opportunity to go do things your own way.

Every culture is different in good and bad ways.

South Korea is wayyy too western. You can tell by the expectations of the women. Literally the second to last place id go looking for a girl, #1 is America. USA's top export is our culture. And that's like exporting SARS.

Korea may have never had the feminist revolution that we had, but it's females are entitled and shallow as anywhere else. You seem to be mistaking RP for patriarchal but Korea isn't even that patriarchal anymore. Their president is a female
