The first one is a girl I asked out from class kinda lead me on by seeming interested but said she was too busy with school to go out and once she finished up her week of schoolwork we could go out. I saw her hanging out at the mall with her friend one day and just took the hint. My friend wanted to figure out what happened to give me closure and told her something along the lines of "Hey if you're interested in forget4 you should let him know." She told my friend "I'm just really focusing on school so I'm not looking for anything right now but I'd like to stay friends."
I had already moved on but we are all in the same class so I'd see her and I'd say hey when we passed each other. I didn't pass by her much so we went a week or two without saying anything to each other and she's starting to do it herself now. I took her wanting to be friends as just the usual they don't want to talk to me anymore but she has gone out of her way to say hi to me.
She was on the phone one day, I was heading straight and she was headed to the right of the direction I was going and we were about 20-30 feet away from each other but she tried to get me to see her to say hi. I didn't notice until my friend said something. Then today I was walking to our class in a pretty crowded hallway and she was walking the opposite way, someone was directly in front of me so I couldn't see anyone in front but as she passed directly past me she said "Hey forget4."
I doubt she's interested but should I go out of my way and talk to her again, just keep saying hi when she says it to me first, or what? This is the first time a girl actually went out of her way to keep acknowledging me after rejecting me so I don't know how to act. It annoyed me she didn't just say she wasn't interested in dating from the beginning and lead me on for a while but again its a different situation since she's still acknowledging me. I thought about asking her something along the lines of "If school wasn't in the way what would you have said?" and if its still a no then I'd ask why so I could work on myself. Not sure if that's doing too much but I'd like an opinion on it.
Second, the same friend from that story wants to be my wingwoman. She thinks I just need to get a one night to help my confidence so I thought about going to a place like a club or bar with her and having her build me up to a girl. It was an idea from someone on reddit, only problem is I'm not 21 yet but she is so I'm not sure where to go. Also, she brought up what would I do with a girl when things went well. I don't have my own place so I can't bring a girl over plus I have to drive my friend back home, she said I could try getting numbers and going from there but who knows how that would go.
Any advice on where I could go to meet girls and use my friend as a wingwoman and how I should go about talking to these girls?
tldr; Girl in my class lead me on and rejected me but wanted to stay friends. She's gone out of her way to say hi to me so I think she means she wants to stay friends. First time a girl has actually kept acknowledging me with any girl who has rejected me so not sure if I should keep minding my business and saying hi when she says it or do more or less. Thought about asking her why she didn't reject me from the beginning since I think it means I don't seem confident enough to be rejected, if school wasn't in the way would I get a yes or no, and what I could do to improve.
Second issue is I have a good friend who wants to be my wingwoman. I'm not 21 yet, another month left, but she is so most clubs are out of the question and bars. I also don't have my own place and have to drive her if I take her as my wingwoman. Where can I go to meet girls with her and is getting numbers/dates a good way to use her help or should I try going back to the girls place or find a hotel instead of just getting a girls number/date?
