So last night I decided to have a small party (8 people total). I wanted to have an equal amount of boys and girls, so I told one girl to invite some mutual friends.
Now here's where the problem starts.
I'm a huge nerd. I've always been a huge nerd and I probably always will be, but I'm able to shut that down when gaming girls. However, this ends up being odd because all of the guys I invited are also pretty big nerds, and we act as such around each other. None of us drink or smoke too much (boring I know) and we're pretty normal.
The girls though are the exact opposite. I've somehow ended up having most of my female friends be the slutty, druggy, drinky kind of girls and while this is good for some situations, a small get together with almost nothing other than eating planned is not the best mix.
So to sum up the night, all the guys get there early, we play some video games and I cook up some amazing burgers. A bit later all the girls arrive and it get's real awkward real fast. No one knows each other other than me, and nobody wants to eat anymore. We move on to playing CaH and it doesn't end well. They end up all leaving early and my guys and I watch Rick and Morty for the remainder of the night.
Tl;dr- don't mix your nerdy square friends with your party friends. It only ends with tons of awkwardness.
