Hi guys, very new to this sub, and I'm someone who is completely oblivious even when women have straight up told me they want to date and shit. To put it simply, I'm an idiot that has a self deprecating sense of humor, but I want that to change. This might be a bit long

So yesterday I was waiting in line for a really long que at my college (took me around 6 hrs to get it done) and a girl who was really pretty sat beside me maybe after an hour or so of me waiting there. After around a min I asked her if the documents I had were the right ones (I was honestly not sure if they were) and we talked for a very brief moment, maybe 6 sentences total.

Around 10 mins later a dude maybe a few feet from us asked another guy to check what number the que was at, so off his friend went and came back to tell him it was still pretty far off. Both she and I were listening to this conversation that took place, and so I made a joking comment to her about how long this will take and how we'll be stuck here forever. We proceeded to talk for around one and a half hours, and then a staff member asked me to sit near the back since my number was still pretty far off and they wanted people who were first in the cue to sit near the front (this was in a large audtitorium). I say ok and stand up to leave and sit near the back, and was about to to say bye to her as her number is closer to the que than mine but then she also stands up infront of me just as I do and sits at a spot with 2 vacant seats next to each other. I don't know if it's because she simply wanted to continue our conversation, or she interpreted it as the staff member guy was also asking her to move to a seat near the back, who knows. So we sit and talk for about and hour more, just general stuff about random bullshit, hobbies and life, and I see her number in the que is nearing so I ask her for her well... facebook (I know it's weird asking for an fb of all things god damn) but it didn't feel weird at the time and she said something like "oh yeah I'll just add you later when I get access/home" (wifi in the place was having issues). Her number was called in the que shortly after and we separated with her saying something like "my number is up, i'll go now, bye" with a smile, and that was it.

So she accepted my friend request on facebook that night, and now I've no idea what to say. I really wanna meet up with this person as she seems really nice, but I just don't know how and what to do. I know I shouldn't fret over things like "what if she says no because she just wants to be friends" or "maybe she only gave me her details to keep it from being awkward", but I honestly do just a bit, there's also the fact that I dont feel attractive since I've gained some weight. I've had a gf before, but that was early on in HS, and I consider that to be just dumb luck considering the circumstances.

So yeah, what do I tell her? How do you even open up with a cheesy funny remark when you've pretty much exhausted the common things people talk about when first getting to know each other? How long should you wait before messaging someone after getting their details? Some help would be really appreciated for an oblivious soul like me. I'm not even sure if this is the right sub.
