I just wish someone had said all this to the college me. In college I wasted a full fucking year pursuing a girl who wasn't as interested in me as I was her. We'd hang out, even go on dates, but I was slotted firmly in friend territory, and I kept thinking she would eventually come around.

She never did. If only I nutted up, moved the fuck on, and expanded my options. Instead of wasting hours obsessing over her and letting my heart get broken over and over again. I'll never make this mistake again.

I encourage you all to share this with your friends who are going through something similar. They may need to hear it.
