I met a girl a few months ago and we clicked instantly. She was my 10 out of 10 as far as personality, common interests, and looks. In the beginning my game was super tight but as the weeks went on I kept falling harder and harder for her. To be honest a few weeks in I just became too outcome dependent which made me act in an unattractive way and completely fuck it all up. In my defense, I was really just excited because I had never connected with a woman that quickly. Doesn't excuse the fact I made a rookie mistake.

The thing is it's been a few months and although I've dated and hooked up with other girls, she's still on my mind. It's not all the time or even everyday but when she does it still hurts. I feel guilt having made a mistake I already learned the lesson to. I regret that her last memories of me weren't "me" but me trying to make it all work out. And I hate that she just isn't a part of my life anymore and probably never will be.

I've been keeping myself busy and dating other girls but she's just always there in the back of my mind and I want it to stop. What do I do?
