I've been just a lurker in this subreddit for about a month or so. I started reading around here when my friend suggested it since I was looking to get better at being around women.

I've read a number of post here and I've applied a few to my life. I've become more confident, and more willing/able to start conversation with people on campus. My issue comes that I tend to get "I only want to be friends with you" deal.

People apparently enjoy being around me and want to hang out, or just to talk to me. But how do I change that perception of myself. I don't always want to be seen as just a friend and not as someone they want to date.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
