So I got invited to bar by this cute girl and her friends but I can't drink because of acne medication. How can I play it off?

Tell her that you're not drinking for a period of time because of a new fitness diet your doing, she'll respect that. You can even joke around and tell her to drink enough for the two of you. If you're still lively and playful during the whole time then it's fine, if you don't make a big deal out of it then she won't either.

Well firstly acne isn't for teenage boys - there is adult acne and quite a few people including myself have it and have to deal with it. I don't see why the simple truth isn't good enough because it seems like a very insiginificant issue that your insecurity is blowing out of proportion.
