I think you've maintained frame quite well. You're not wasting time with her, and even if things don't work out, its all good practice. So go get that ice-cream and have fun. Also she says she doesn't know you that well, so going out that day and getting to know eachother, next thing you know she's in your bed ready to fuck.

Maybe she's trying to keep her own frame by saying "Just as friends" if you get me? I read it somewhere before. But you seemed to play it cool either way. If she really just wants to be friends, she'll resist your moves. I'd meet up, and build the tension and make a move. If she resisted, I'd next her. She'd start to think "If he's such a player, why doesn't he talk to me?" and maybe then she'd change her mind.
