I went clubbing at the music hall on U street in DC for the first time. My group arrived a little early so we waited a while and enjoyed the music until people showed up. I started dancing to get me bumped up.

First approach: I mentioned her bb-8 purse but it didnt go any further and I couldnt get her attention.

Second approach:I tapped on her shoulder while inviting her to dance. She declined.

Third Approach: tapped her shoulder then she just turned and left.

Fourth Approach: I tapped again but I dont think she understood I wanted to dance. Before I could find a way to clarify, a stranger came from behind and she left.

Fifth Approach:I tapped again(Dont know how else to approach). She sees me then turns away.

On the plus side, I made some friends on the meet up and I approached this time so the night wasnt a complete clusterfuck. Any advice on how to approve? Id STRONGLY appreciate the assistance
