"a persons name is ones favorite word in the world, we hear it since we where born" it is stated something similar to this in the book "how to win friends and influence people", I just cant look up the exact quote. I recommend reading it because it is a fun and giving read.

Also google name memorie techniques if you have truble remembering names.

A persons name is the most important thing to that person. It's something they have and own and using it often will create rapport with another person. People love hearing their name.
