This is 100% about inner game and not particularly about seducing women, so I'll understand if it gets removed. However, I really think this sub will handle the question in the most helpful way (and it applies to many social situations including pickup)

Background: My younger brother is marrying his fiance next weekend. She seems great but I'm not a huge fan of their decision overall, for a couple reasons (they're both rather young, seemed “immature” in their relationship, not making a lot of money..). I have lightly expressed some of my reservations, but I'm not super close with my brother (although I care about his happiness a lot) so I didn't really press the issue. My parents are totally on board with it btw.

Anyway, I'm cool to let him make his decision and live with it, but I can't say I technically agree with it. And for this reason I'm afraid I'll be a downer at their wedding: the guy who just has to be there and isn't super excited about it. I don't want to be that.

How do I put on a happy frame? Fake it until I'm having fun? What are your tactics for getting in a fun state when your mind is saying “this is a drag”?
