So recently I was dumped by my longtime term girlfriend. I'm bisexual and I've had no problem getting back out there with cute guys but I've had next to no luck with girls. As a kid I wasn't very confident and it wasn't until I started dating my ex that I became really confident in myself and my looks which made it easy to be funny, witty, and charming. For the first time in my life I was able to approach the prettiest girls and flirt (successfully) even though I had no intention of going beyond that. During the breakup she tried very hard to hurt me and then moved on with her "best friend" in a week. I'm still very in love with her because to me she was unlike every other girl and our relationship was special and the fact that it wasn't to her has made me doubt my personality and being charming and funny isn't effortless anymore. This is probably why ive been strikung out with girls making me doubt my looks as well and lose even more confidence no matter how hard I try not to. Having guys tell me I'm attractive doesn't help because I feel like they are just trying to sleep with me. I feel like even though I act confident and happy I'm genuinely not unlike before and girls can see through that mask. I've been trying to just keep working on myself and trying to achieve my goals but I was hoping someone had any other advice on how to get it back?
