Just a bit of insight on how (particularly young) girls can be. Once you have this realization, it can either completely mess with you... or you can accept it for what it is and learn to play the game yourself.

Moved to Tampa, and first night met some people who invited me to go out for drinks. Me, my friend, and a couple. Very cute girl who was making out with her boyfriend, dancing, etc etc. I went to the other side of the bar to hit on a group of girls I saw earlier, and she followed me "because this bartender makes better drinks" (to her bf).

Teasing her for following me around, checking me out, etc etc.. just being playful, she was reciprocating but I wasn't focused in on her, as she was with her boyfriend.

Fastforward to 130am, they wanted to grab tacos. She is in the passenger seat, he is driving. I am behind her. As he leans his head out the window to order, she whispers back "take my number, take my number". I pushed her face away jokingly, because it was kind of strange. She grabbed my finger, and began sucking on it. With her boyfriend next to her. Then she grabbed my phone off my lap, put her number in, and handed it back under the console.

Fucking girls lol.

I figured this was not a particularly solid thing, and she was just being a goofy girl especially after a drink or two...

Fast forward to the next night, I pick her up from her boyfriends house, she comes over and had a great time together :)

Now to my brief explanation. Girls aren't all "shady" or non-loyal or whatever your term is. That being said, if you are a weird, needy, not cool, non-leading, non secure individual... the girl will almost be forced to go to another cooler guy, whether that is for a night or for a long term relationship.

IF your plan is to exclusively date a girl, you must be aware that you have to ground yourself as a man. If you are starting PU now, and still have elements of neediness, jealousy, insecurity, etc etc.. you must work on those before you date a girl (especially a hot one). 95% of the time, it will end up like this... and you may not even know it happened (or is happening repeatedly).

Thought this story was a bit funny so I figured I would share it with you guys. More field reports to come as I go.
