Picture yourself as a hot woman. From the very beginning, even at a young age, what kind of experiences are you having? Everyone telling you how cute you are, being able to use your looks to get what you want. Finding out that you can emotionally manipulate people with ease, and basically nobody calls you on it, becomes extremely empowering and addicting.

As you get older you find that you can make your "power" even better by accentuating your looks with clothes, makeup, and sexualizing your appearance. Now you can get basically anything you want. The world is your oyster. Men want you, women want to be you. Why would you give that up to get the plain looking guy in the corner who gave you a dirty look when you rejected him? You wouldn't. Anyone that tries to call you on it you ignore or get a white knight to take care of him.

The girls next door are often the women who chose not to abuse that power, or maybe never believed they had it in the first place. In any case, when a woman's looks fade as she gets older so does that power, and it makes them either grow up fast or live a life of plastic surgery, jealousy and regret.

Don't see them as bitches, if you learned from a young age that you could get whatever you wanted from someone whenever you furrowed your brow and puffed your lips, would you? They chose a different path, but plenty of guys are looking for trophy wives and arm candy and can deal with their personalities well enough.
