You sound like you're your own worst enemy. If you don't like yourself or your situation, no girl ever will. Even if you don't actually have your shit together yet, you need to frame it in the context of what you're doing to bring it together. Unless you're only into golddiggers, most girls will like you more for how you make her feel (humor, esteem, etc.) than what club you're in or what car you're [not] driving.

I won't lie, the car thing might be a logistics issue depending on where you live, but you shouldn't let it be a stumbling block if it comes up in conversation. Don't frame it as "Oh woe is me, no car, I am a poor chump." Frame it more as "It can be challenging at times, but I've seen a lot of the city that I never would have otherwise and had some interesting conversations." Or whatever, there are lots of ways around that, that was just an example. If you're going after a greenie/hippie girl then you can take the saving-the-environment tack.
