Not, being a dick, but it sounds like you didn't "have the game down" then. Just get back into it. Create a plan, identify obstacles, and Identify your strengths. For me approach anxiety has almost never been an issue, but my night game/club game needs work. My strengths core confidence, day game, game at bars, game outside the club, anyplace I can talk comfortably without shouting, etc.. You might have obstacles in your path, you can't expect improvement without identifying what is setting you back. Maybe your set back is not approach anxiety, maybe your issue is gaming in an area you are weak in. For instance my friend was great on tinder but fell on his face in person, where I can two hour f-close an on the street approach but I can barely get a match to message back on tinder. Identify obstacles, Identify Strengths, Create a plan to either overcome obstacles or focus on strengths. If you are just getting back into things I would focus on strengths and improve where you are good to get results faster. Nothing makes you feel more capable than your first f-close out of a relationship. I broke up with a girl recently and within a few weeks I banged 4-6 girls, maybe not the numbers you're looking for but I'm not really into hookups/one-night-stands etc... Point is I felt good which made my results get even better. Focus on your strong suit, get laid, feel comfortable and confident and then fix your weak ares once you are back to feeling like a winner.

Edit: Wall of text is my thing, sorry busy Edit 2: Another obstacle could be living in a small shitty town with no honies, time to move/get better at tinder with a longer range.

This was the fuck up man.

This is a principle I can't take credit for but speaks so much truth: Women fall for who you are but they try to make you something that you’re not.

A woman falls in love with you for everything that you are. She spends the rest of the relationship trying to change you into everything that you’re not, and when she succeeds she will dump you for the guy who is what you were when she met you. You’ll get left for the guy you used to be even though she’s trying to change you. When a woman falls in love with you and she’s attracted to you there are things she’s attracted by, don’t change those things, she’s going to ask you to change things that she finds innately attractive. This sounds fucked up because it’s an act of self-sabotage (of the relationship) but the thing is she knows other women find these things about you attractive so she tries to get rid of it so that other women don’t come at you.

Yeah, working out and getting in shape helps. But unless you really let yourself go, thats not the make/break it. Whether the year is 2016, or 1986, the first thing you need to do is get your ass out of the house to whatever spot has girls you like. Clubs? Church? Temple? Bookstores? Museums? Bars? The gym? Sounds like you at least already go to that one. Pick a spot women go, and get your ass out there and talk to some women. Bring a bro (or better even, a chick friend) if you have one nearby.

If you aren't having decent volume, give yourself a daily goal: talk with 3 new women a day, every day. If you have some decent ability to be a human, that should get you off the ground. If you're skilled you'll post the multiple chicks/week that some guys post. If you don't have a date in 2 weeks, time to up your game, and try some new spots.
