You have to start escalation early on. At the end of the night it's not impossible, but very very difficult.
Do not fucking "inquire if she's interested". Assume attraction, trust me she will stop you if she's not into you. Hint, this girl is into you.
She intentionally forgot stuff; you lucky dog, you are getting a second chance. Sidebar has the escalation ladder. Use it. You don't need a party to get laid. "Hey, I was just about to go grab a beer/watch this show on netflix, want to join?" Make your own opportunities.
Don't stress about controlling the conversation. Just be fucking normal man, she's into you for being how you are. Be witty, tease her some, push/pull, agree & amplify. Watch Todd Barry on Netflix.
Keep escalating until she stops you. Back off a bit, build comfort, and escalate again. There's no shortcut here, you have to be bold and go for it. For example, next time don't offer her the couch, offer to let her stay with you in your room "but only if she behaves". And then escalate, and blame it on her "not behaving"
