This scenario will happen so often with girls that I've pretty much developed a system to deal with it.

First, say "No problem." Just leave it at that. Don't say anything else that may communicate to her that you're disappointed or angry.

Second, wait a few days and text her that you're going to this event, and she should come along with you. Tell her it's the last weekend of the event.

Remember, your text invite should communicate the tone that you're going to this event anyway, and it would be an added bonus if she comes. Make the event the priority, not her.

Also, I don't know your situation with this girl. However, it's usually a difficult endeavour to get a girl to go out with you on a sat night. If you're just a guy she's just met, you'll almost always take a backseat to her friends.

It might be a smarter idea to go for a different date activity on a weekday night.
