Are there any other celebrities or movies that go along with the red pill mindset?

9 1/2 Weeks

9½ Weeks is an 1986 erotic romantic drama film directed by Adrian Lyne and starring Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke [before he self-destructed]. It is based on the memoir of the same name by Elizabeth McNeill, about a New York City art gallery employee who has a brief, yet intense affair [understatement] with a mysterious Wall Street broker [PUA].

Actually, most stand up comedy is pretty red pill. Guess men can only get away with saying what we actually think under a guise of humour.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Specifically, two movies: Don Jon and Blast from the Past.

Don Jon is ostensibly about a man's addiction to pornography. But the main character is a PUA that regularly pulls 8s and 9s and has no problem kicking them to the curb. When one of his conquests shit tests him in a club he maintains frame beautifully.

Then he meets a "dime" and slowly turns into a beta bux at her urging. The transformation is incredible, and when he finally wakes up it's heartening. Granted it's a Hollywood movie so his realization comes from interaction with another woman, but it's still a good reminder that anyone can be turned from AF to BB if they're not careful.

Blast from the Past (if you haven't seen it) is a Brendan Frasier comedy from the early 90s. It's mostly forgettable except for one scene. The entire movie he's basically orbiting Alicia Silverstone...until someone tells him he's a "good boy" but what she needs is "a man". The change is instant and complete. From that point on, he's directing her, protecting her, and not tolerating any shit from her or anyone else. I think he even gets into a fight shortly after but it's been a few years so that may be off.

In any event, she of course falls in love with him and they live happily ever after. The key here, though, is that it only happens when he takes charge of her that she does this. Being her friend got him nothing; telling her what to do and how to behave got him everything.

My sub actually suggested to me that we watch the movie Secretary (2002) a few weeks ago. It stars James Spader, who I think is awesome, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. I'd never heard of it before she said that we should watch it.

Quite a contrast of behaviours for Spader throughout the movie. I won't give it away too much, but definitely worth watching.
