I've never been the type to 'pull' girls traditionally, rather just finding a single hottie and then keeping them around as girlfriends. But lately I've just felt too emotionally drained to be anyones boyfriend anymore. I figured that now would be a good time to practice picking up after lurking here for months.

Went to a party, flamboyantly walked up to three girls and talked to the most attractive of them (7/10). The other two got bored and fucked off to idk where. So it was just me and her talking and I focussed on confidence.

Side note: I have had issues with maintaining confidence when the girls isn't practically drooling over me, so this was a good exercise in handling a neutral reaction to my moves.

Eventually we both had a couple of drinks and went for a walk to my place to pick up my ID. (I asked her to stay outside my room because it was messy, I had condoms lying everywhere, and my exes shoes were right next to the door).

During this walk I found out she was a virgin and had never had a boyfriend before. This threw me off because I felt conflicted about screwing over a chick who was clearly looking for a relationship while I was doing the exact opposite. Anyway I mentally decided to take my foot off the gas a little and just practice physical escalation.

We went to a bar, danced for a bit. Slowly went from holding hands to grinding. I tried to go on for a kiss but she stopped me and said 'You're a good looking guy and I'm not the type of girl to be just another one of your hook ups, so I'm not kissing you yet'. I played it cool and just kept dancing and grinding for a bit. She went to the bathroom and I texted my friend to call me in a minute to give me an escape plan since clearly she's looking to go on a few dates and require a lot of effort before she does anything.

She came back from the bathroom, he called me, I dropped her home and went to his for a laugh and some FIFA (I lost 0-2, if anyone cares). I texted her goodnight when I got home and she replied in the morning (i havent texted back yet).

Obviously this was my first go around trying to pick up a stranger, and I'd love some feedback on how much of this could be improved on my part and how much I should just chalk up to the luck of the draw! Be brutally honest please :)
