Warning: When it comes to seduction, I don't think the ability to acquire resources and be rich and successful is more important than confidence and lack of a fear of escalating. In fact it's not one hundreth as important as those things. In fact it's not even a requirement in any sense to a woman. Demonstrating your value can only help your game, it can't be your game. It won't in and of itself, get panties to drop.

He was showing her a picture of his fucking car. This dude was at a hotel bar, trying to hit on a woman. He had resorted to taking his phone out of his breast pocket, throwing his arm around her, and showing her a picture of a car. “Check this shit out” he said with a bravado him and all his mates had, a bravado that clearly was inspired by a combination of alcohol and some amount of business success. It wasn’t a bravado inspired by a confidence in his ability with women.
While he probably doesn’t know about “this stuff”, in my mind, that man was trying to DHV, or demonstrate higher value. It’s an “old school” PUA term that hasn’t been thrown around that much since I started reading material and approaching. I’d say that lack of talking about it is for good reason. The community focussing on it caused many guys to try too hard, forget about actually reading where she’s at in the moment, and be inauthentic to the point where they would sometimes tell stories that were outright made up. It’s a good thing for all of us that this vibe has mostly died off from discussions and products.
However, the core philosophy behind DHV’s makes a lot of sense. There are elements to a man women value in sexual and life partners. One of these is the ability to be successful and acquire resources (there are several other traits women value, like social status, but I'm focussed on success and wealth acquisition right now). Therefor making sure the woman is aware he posses these elements should leave him with a better chance to get with her. That’s logical and reasonable. However it can be down right, and it can be done wrong.
The wrong way to do it is to straight up show off material goods, or tell stories that are on the nose with the “I’m cool and what I’m talking about costed money and was high status”, element. While luxury excites a good deal of them, women don’t value material goods themselves on an evolutionary level. What they value deeply is potential and ability. With this in mind I believe the better way for that man at the hotel bar to DHV, would have been to subtly show off parts of his MINDSET that lead to his successes.
So let’s do some google searches of mindsets and traits that rich and successful people have in common…
Alright, it looks like the setting of goal sand the envisioning of results is a pretty universal one. That’s one option then: Bring the conversation to talking about both your aspirations. When you tell of yours, keep it grounded, realistic, descriptive and specific, but also fairly ambitious. (edit: this can be a phenomenal topic of conversation for several reasons, I highly recommend it for later on, when you're trying to build deeper comfort.)
Another trait people successful in business are known to have is that they have passion and like to do their work. With this in mind, another way to subtly communicate that your a man who can be successful is: Briefly talk about some element of your work that you find , fun, exciting, and/or very interesting. I say briefly because you don’t want to get into drawn out conversations about careers, it’s not ussually a sexy topic.
There’s so many mindsets and traits but I’ll just do one more. People who succeed take action and do things in the face of dissatisfaction, rather than complaining or letting things be. That leaves us with the option to: Talk about something unsatisfactory in your life you’re bettering with concrete action . For example, right now I’m teaching myself how to cook a a lot of different things because I’m tired of just eating out or having the same shit.
I believe that if the gentleman at the hotel bar would have gone the direction I’ve described, of subtly showing off mindset in an honest way, it would have gone better for him.
You and I can apply this too. It doesn’t matter if you’re average or struggling. That’s the beauty of this mindset, it revolves around the value of potential. So the next time a conversation is flowing along and you’re not sure where to take it next, consider taking it one of those directions. It might change her impression of you for the better.
