Just ask her to hang out and do something, like go to the park and get a coffee or something. Think about what you would do with a friend. Make it light for the first time and no need to call it a date. Get to know her and if you like her still and things are going well invite her back to your place to drink.

Say: "So everyone tells me your my bae. Whats up with that! " and pretend like she is your gf for fun. Tell her she is your gf now for today. Keep it super fun, this will help get rid of any insecurity, awkwardness.

Then if she enjoys it, you can hold hands, kiss, make out etc. Women love a good role play, because it's not actually serious. :)
