First I do understand, outcome independence and all that. However I do value learning something new, as I believe everyone has something to teach. But let's not dwaddle in philosophies.

The situation is this. This was a girl who dated an acquaintance of mine back in high school. Back then she was the girl who would always get touchy feely with me, however I was not interested at the time. Flash forward to the shitfest we call 2016, she finds me on snapchat and we add each other. We chat throughout the week, well kind of. It's more like I give wisecrack responses every two days or so, whenever I remember to check my snapchat (I'm a busy guy). 2am Thursday we wisecrack for about 5 minutes I tell her I've got to be up in the morning and to that she may message me later if she wants. She instead gives me her number and tells me to text her. Now I'm ready to take the plunge (mostly because my responsibilities opened up) but I'm just thinking hey she wants attention, and I'd better not waste my time. Am I thinking too much? Probably. I'd like to know what more experienced guys would do.
